Coming travels

June was a month in which we had many meetings. We were in Tennessee the first few days as we helped with an ordination of the new pastor at the church where Jerry grew up. We also had a great homecoming weekend there and some encouraging times of fellowship with many of the people we have know for years.
From the 6th –9th we were in Michigan where we met with all the church planters and their families with IBM. Jerry did the Mentoring for Ministry Workshop with everyone, and Amy spoke once to the women. From Michigan we went to Egg Harbor, NJ, where Jerry spoke 4 times on Saturday at a Men’s Day in the Word at Emmanuel Church, then he spoke at both services on Sunday. June 12 -15 we were involved in the synergy meetings at the BMW office.
From June 21-30 we were at the IFCA Board meetings and the IFCA Convention in Louisville, KY. This was a very rich and rewarding time of fellowship and ministry. Amy and Jerry both had many responsibilities and stayed very busy. Thanks for all your prayers.
Following are our Praise and Prayer items and our schedule:
PRAISE: We are so thankful for the Lord’s strength and enablement in all the meetings and speaking in June. We are thankful for His wisdom in the carrying out of our responsibilities. We are thankful for God’s rich blessings in his daily provision and encouragement. The church plants in Summerville, SC, and Bethlehem, GA are making real progress.
PRAYER: Please pray for some important meetings we have coming up. Pray for the many opportunities we have to minister with churches. Pray for the Lord’s provision for the finances needed for our travel. The cost of travel keeps increasing. Our granddaughter, Cara, will be leaving on July 27 to return to Korea for a year of teaching and discipling at the Word of Life School of Youth Ministry near Seoul. She still needs $400 per month support. Amy will be having an endoscopy on July 27th.
